Behavioral And Neural Correlates Of Memory Function And Emotional Processing During Late Pregnancy- An Event-related Potentials Study

Abstract

Background: Studies on memory function during pregnancy draw a complex picture and does not entirely support the frequently self-reported memory decline among pregnant women. Research concerning neural changes accompanying human pregnancy-related cognitive changes is scarce. We compared cognitive-affective processing and neural function across groups of 23 women in late pregnancy and 22 non-pregnant controls.
